Our Story
In a world where digital dominates,
the soul of analog music
refuses to fade.

MONTREAL BORN

We handcraft electronics, code, and light to transform music into extraordinary audiovisual objects.

MAXIME JUTRAS

Renowned developer, designer and creative technologist, Maxime launched the Audiorays in 2024.

Growing up surrounded by vintage cassette decks, glowing arcade cabinets, and the pixelated worlds of retro games, Maxime was fascinated by how light, sound, and technology could blur into pure magic.

Following a career building global audio software and designing music technology for thousands of creators, Maxime decided to chase his obsession.

“By day I was coding audio players for websites and building tools for artists. By night I was soldering boards, cutting acrylic, and hand-assembling giant cassette-shaped prototypes in my studio. I wanted to see music, not just hear it.

I wanted to make sound physical — light you could feel. What started as one rough prototype for myself became something people couldn’t stop asking about. The seed was planted, and my love child between music, craft, and technology was born.  His name — Audiorays.

Our work is born from the collision of music culture, DIY electronics, and retro nostalgia. We collaborate with coders, designers, and musicians to inject attitude, craft and emotion into every Audiorays creation.

We don’t just build visualizers.
We build objects of obsession.
